DISCOVER THE BEST PARKS AND ATTRACTIONS IN Norway

Norway's coastline spans hundreds of kilometres and provides beautiful scenery throughout, as well as offering fun and adventurous activities to really make the most of your surroundings. From the tranquil fjords of the west and north of the Norwegian mainland, to the harsh Arctic coast of the Spitsbergen archipelago, Norway is a delight for photographers and wildlife lovers alike.

Choose a safari focused on the mainland for outdoor adventures, gastronomic feasts and luxurious lodges, or combine your Norway exploration with a Svalbard expedition in search of polar bears to get off-the-beaten-track and discover the true wilds of the Arctic.

Look out for unique wildlife such as killer whales and humpbacks, Arctic birdlife, reindeer and more.

Best places in Norway to see…

Arctic Birds – A number of Arctic birds can be seen off the coast of the Lofoten Islands, from eider ducks and Glaucous gulls to puffins and guillemots.

Orca - The best place to see killer whales in Norway is off the coast of Tromso in the north of the country. Travel with our marine guide, Patrick Dykstra, to swim with these powerful creatures.

Reindeer - Reindeer can be seen readily throughout Svalbard, but for those travelling to Norway for a short safari you can see plenty of Svalbard reindeer in and around Longyearbyen.

Walrus - These ungainly mammals can be seen throughout the Spitsbergen archipelago but can easily be seen on day trips from Longyearbyen.
