What is your first travel-related memory?
Pony riding at a holiday camp on a family holiday in the Isle of Wight.
What is your most memorable wildlife encounter?
On one of the treks in the Amazon, our guide decided to poke a hole in the ground – until a tarantula popped out! An experience that definitely sticks out in my mind.
If you could do just one NWS safari, which one would it be and why?
Now that’s hard. It would either be the Galapagos Islands, or Borneo to go see the Orangutans as they’ve always been on my bucket list.
What do you like doing outside of NWS?
I enjoy reading (I’m a massive bookworm), being active and exploring new places with my friends and family.
Why do you travel?
To encounter new experiences that I could never get a chance to do here in the UK and create ever-lasting memories – and usually the much warmer weather.
How many countries and continents have you visited?
I’ve been to every continent apart from Antarctica and visited nearly 20 countries – with a lot more to visit on my list!
What is your favourite souvenir from your travels?
I always pick up a shot glass from wherever I’ve travelled – I have a lovely, tacky collection. I also have an amazing alpaca scarf from Peru which I adore.
What's the farthest away from "civilisation" that you've been?
I’d have to say in the Amazon – to be in our cabin and just listen to the night-time wildlife and nothing else was magical.
Out of all the places you've visited, which one surprised you the most?
Finding the vast amount of nature near Sydney – for a city holiday, it was something I wasn’t expecting to access.
