What is your first travel-related memory? A family trip the Loire region of France when I was about 3!
What is your most memorable wildlife encounter? Getting to hang out with a congregation of Alligators in the Gambia when I was 15
If you could do just one NWS safari, which one would it be and why? The Western Australia Safari as I’m secretly really into Marine Biology and I think this trip would absolutely fulfil that nerdy side of me. Plus, I’d finally get to explore Australia!
What do you like doing outside of NWS? I love any chance I can get to draw, play music and generally be creative!
Why do you travel? The world is too big to only know the area that you are from. I want to get to know new people, new ways of life and explore all that I can.
What is the best travel advice you have received? There’s nothing you can buy that will replace the feeling of exploring somewhere new
Out of all the places you've visited, which one surprised you the most? Gdansk, Poland. I went in with 0 expectations and it was absolutely stunning!
What is your favourite souvenir from your travels? I actually still have the stuffed lion that my dad bought me from the trip to the Loire so I’d have to say that!
Aside from travelling, how do you maintain your connection to the natural world? I try to book in a few camping trips near to where I live to go back to basics for a weekend, but if I can’t manage that, a trip to the beach always brings it back.
Do you have any travel habits or rituals? If I’m going somewhere town or city based, I will always hunt for a bauble with that place on for my parent’s Christmas tree.
