lamanai outpost lodge details
Style
A comfortable and truly remote jungle lodge, providing great service and complete exclusivity.
Setting
Overlooking the New River Lagoon, Lamanai Outpost Lodge is on the Orange Walk District, northwest of Belize City. Perched on the top of a hill, the lodge has a spectacular location far away from the other hotels and lodges in the area.
Accommodation & Facilities
The rustic cabanas provide everything you need for comfort under their tropical palm thatched roofs. Made from local woods, they fit in naturally with their surroundings and have a peaceful, cosy atmosphere, disturbed only by the calls of the jungle. All rooms are en-suite with hot running water, ceiling fans and 24 hours of electricity a day. The private verandas have wonderful views over the tropical gardens and the lagoon.
“Busy Place” is the open air bar and restaurant where the few guests gather in the evenings over a cool drink to discuss the days antics.
Dining
Meals are delicious, homely and filling, serving hearty food.
