From rainforest to reef, you will then explore the vibrant wonderland of Belize's cayes and atolls, with first-class diving and pristine beaches on which to relax.

What to expect

Orange Walk

After arriving in Belize City, you will be met and transferred to Lamanai Outpost Lodge which encapsulates the magic of the jungle. Explore the various trails or take some of the optional tours such as walking safaris, bird watching, night walks, canoeing, fly fishing or horse riding. This is also said to be the best area of Belize for spotting the elusive Jaguar. Although sightings are rare, the largest cat in the Americas is known to roam these forests.

Lamanai Outpost

Such is the natural beauty and abundance of wildlife of this area you will have 2 days to fully explore. Each day you will have the choice of 2 activities per day slowing you explore and keep a look out for resident wildlife. Large birds, deer, monkeys and all five-feline species - jaguar, puma, ocelot, margay and jaguarondi - have all been spotted in the area. Your local expert guides will be on hand throughout your stay to help you make the most of this wildlife and culture-rich part of Belize.

Chan Chich

Explore this fascinating area, there are around 9 miles of trails which can be hiked with the aid of a guide from the lodge. You may also want to take some vehicle excursions, including visits to the wetland habitat at Laguna Seca or even visit La Milpa, which is a Mayan site located nearby. Large birds, deer, monkeys and all five feline species - jaguar, puma, ocelot, margay and jaguarondi - have all been spotted on the estate.

Ambergris Caye

The main island on the stunning cayes of Belize and the gateway to the vast barrier reef and atolls that are home to abundant technicolour marine life. The birds eye views of the azure sea waters, coral reefs and clear lagoon can be stunning. Fully explore and unwind in the tropical paradise of the beautiful cayes at the end of your natural world safari into Belize, we recommend discovering some of the marine life that includes manta rays, nurse sharks and dolphins. Popular sites include Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley, and you can either dive or snorkel the waters. The pristine beaches of Ambergris Caye are some of the most unspoilt in the Caribbean and there is also a Mayan ruin on Ambergris itself.
