Accommodation & Facilities
The Macal River Camp provides basic and comfortable accommodation for those wanting a real back to nature experience. This is a peaceful and tranquil spot where guests can relax with the sounds of the jungle, away from civilisation. The Spa Villa has 3 bedrooms in a tropical garden, with a panoramic view of the jungle and Macal River Basin from behind the glass panelled living area. There is also a large veranda and Jacuzzi, a full kitchen and a stocked bar. There are a collection of cottages, each tailored for groups, families, singles or couples. They are palm thatched and feature elegant furnishings alongside local and international art and fine fabrics. The Orchard Villa was specifically designed for families, but is just a good for groups of friends or those just wanting more space. Set in a private garden, the villa is spread out over 2 floors featuring 2 queen sized sleeping areas and a loft with 2 single beds. The Garden Suite and Garden Jacuzzi Suite can be rented separately or together, the former with a private veranda with jungle views, the latter with a 4 poster mahogany bed, Jacuzzi, private veranda and jungle garden. The Tree Top Suites each have 1 bedroom, perched high in the jungle for that amazing panoramic Belizean jungle view. All with a Jacuzzi and veranda specially placed for star gazing, these are great for romantic getaways and special occasions.
The swimming pool is eco friendly and great for adults and children alike, complete with an added paddling pool for the young ones and lots of space to lounge around. The spa holds a commanding position from a hilltop and includes various relaxing treatments for your mind and body. There is a natural history centre behind the cottages and an organic farm to explore.

The restaurant specialises in ‘jungle cuisine’ and allows you to dine outside in the company of the wildlife. Modern and classic techniques are combines to create some culinary delights and international meals.
