This adventurous safari takes you to three of India's best wildlife sanctuaries - Satpura, Pench and Kanha National Parks - to experience walking, cycling and canoeing safaris with your expert naturalist guides, tracking Bengal tigers and more incredible wildlife.
Venture deep into the jungles of central India, discovering the wildlife of three of the region’s best national parks. This safari offers some adventurous wildlife-viewing opportunities for the more intrepid traveller, from camping out in the wilderness to cycling, walking and canoeing safaris within the national parks, tracking wildlife including tigers, leopards and wild dogs.
Today you will arrive into Mumbai, where you will be met by a local representative and transferred to your hotel in the city.
An early start this morning as you are transferred back to the airport for your flight to Bhopal. Upon arrival you will be driven to your camp at Satpura National Park (approximately 3.5 hours drive). Satpura National Park covers an area of pristine wilderness, with a rugged terrain of high mountains, deep ravines and dense forests that contain over 1300 diverse species of plants, 50 species of mammals and 254 bird species. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to embark on a canoeing trip along the river in search of wildlife within the park, which is an experience not to be missed.

Over the next few days you will discover the wildlife and landscapes of Satpura National Park, with evening and full day walking safaris with your expert naturalist guide, and even spend a night camping out in the heart of the national park. Wildlife you may see includes colourful bird species such as hornbills, eagles and orioles, and mammals including Sambar deer, antelope and giant squirrels.

This morning, enjoy your final excursion into the park before being driven in the afternoon to Pench National Park (approximately 6 hours drive). Situated in the southern reaches of the Satpura hills, Pench National Park covers an area of 760 square kilometres, centred around the Pench reservoir. Wildlife in the park includes tigers, leopards, wild dogs, sloth bears and pangolins.

Enjoy game drives and nature walks into the national park, exploring the bamboo and teak forests in search of wildlife. You will also have the opportunity to head out on a cycling safari around the outskirts of the park, which is a great way to see some of the birdlife that can be found in the park.

This morning, head out into the park on your final game drive. Afterwards, you will be driven (approximately 4.5 hours) to Kanha National Park, one of the largest national parks in India. Settle in to your camp, where the rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax.
Overnight: Shergarh Tented Camp (B, L, D)
Enjoy morning game drives in Kanha National Park, journeying through the lush forests and grassy meadows that inspired Rudyard Kipling's 1894 novel "The Jungle Book". Wildlife found within the park includes tigers, sloth bears, swamp deer and leopards. In the afternoons, head out on walking safaris deep into the park, following tiger footprints in the hope of encountering this majestic big cat.

After your final game drive in the park, you will be driven to Nagpur airport (approximately 5.5 hours) to catch your onward flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai you will be taken to your hotel, where the rest of the day is yours to relax following your flight.
This morning you will depart your hotel and transfer to the airport, where you will board your international flight home.
