Village Walk

Shakti Sikkim

This is your chance to become immersed in the charming villages of Sikkim, where colourful prayer flags flutter against the backdrop of mighty Mount Kangchenjunga. There are numerous trails to discover amongst the forests and meadows of this alpine region.

Each day your private guide will lead you to monasteries, markets and traditional community homes. Sikkim is known for its unique blend of Tibetan Buddhist and remote Himalayan hamlets.

Each day is a discovery of the former hermit kingdom – which had previously been completely closed to outside visitors until the last century. You’ll stay in beautifully renovated village homes on the family properties, which will take you to the heart of these rural communities.
