Sausage Tree Camp is hidden amongst mature sausage and mahogany trees on the banks of the Zambezi River, in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park.

The funky Bedouin style tents feature ensuite bathroom and private verandah. Refreshing sundowners can be enjoyed in the welcoming bar area, which is fronted by an enormous teak deck that overlooks the Zambezi River, while a sparkling swimming pool completes the setting. Spend an evening dining on the banks of the Zambezi, serenaded by hippos and frogs.

Adventure-seekers can try their hand at fishing for the formidable tiger fish, with catch-and-release practices in place. Alternatively, indulge in a sunset cruise along the Zambezi, savouring refreshing drinks and breathtaking views.

How To Get There

Fly 30 minutes from Lusaka International Airport to the Jeki Airstrip. Then be picked up for a 1 hour game drive through the Lower Zambezi National Park to Sausage Tree Camp.
