A leading professional guide, Richard was trained in South Africa, and subsequently spent time there as a specialist private guide in various reserves, as well as leading leopard research trips. Moving on, he took further training and qualified to lead walking safaris before heading to South America to head up their guide training. Back in Africa, Richard is now a leading pan-African safari guide and has led safaris from kayaking in Madagascar, to flying safaris on the Skeleton Coast of Namibia.
