A rustic and small camp with no fences between you and the great outdoors.
On the banks of the Taku River surrounded by 4 million acres of untouched land. Access is via a flight to Whitehorse, the capital of the Yukon Territory and charter flight to Atlin, then private helicopter to the camp.
Accommodation & Facilities
There is space for just 8 guests at a time at this intimate camp. It is clean but rustic, a true home in the wild and a great place to experience grizzly bears in their natural habitat. Bears often approach the camp in their search for food and in your time here, you just co-exist.
Each cabin has a private bathroom with toilet, shower and vanity sink all with hot and cold running water.
This is where you will live among the bears. During the season, Chinook, Pink and Sockeye salmon flood the waters as they return to their birthplace in the Nakina River. Grizzly bears swipe from the shores as hundreds of eagles circle above. This is the perfect place to observe how these bear interact with each other and their surroundings.
