From cosmopolitan Vancouver to the remote waterways of Desolation Sound, this journey showcases the remarkable diversity of British Columbia. Begin on Vancouver's vibrant waterfront before flying by private seaplane into the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest, where Klahoose Wilderness Resort offers an extraordinary blend of Indigenous culture, pristine wilderness and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Watch wild grizzly bears in Toba Inlet, paddle quiet coastal inlets, explore ancient rainforest and experience one of Canada's most spectacular landscapes before returning to Vancouver for scenic flightseeing and a taste of the city's celebrated culinary scene.
Board a private seaplane to Chatterbox Falls in Princess Louisa Inlet, a magnificent granite-walled gorge that rises sharply from the water’s edge reaching heights over 2,100 metres. Warm sun melting the mountain snowpack generates some 60 waterfalls cascading into the gorge, including storybook-like Chatterbox Falls, which presides over the scene at the head of the Inlet. After snapping photos of the tumbling falls and exploring the area at your leisure, take the seaplane onward through the Sunshine Coast. The next destination is Gibsons Landing, a charming coastal village whose shops, art galleries, and restaurants line a bustling boardwalk. Dine on a hearty lunch of fresh seafood, or explore the village – keep an eye out for Molly’s Reach, which you may recognize as the backdrop of popular show The Beachcombers. You can also stroll along the marina, pop into a museum, or simply lounge on the grass and watch the boat traffic in Howe Sound. Afterward, hop aboard the floatplane for a scenic ride back to Vancouver.
As Vancouver’s premier artistic and cultural hub, located in an urban waterfront setting, Granville Island is a unique destination that attracts millions of visitors each year. On this tour, you’ll be escorted by your driver/guide to this world-renowned destination with its world class shops, galleries, restaurants, and the Public Market– a foodie’s paradise where every imaginable edible delectable can be found. You’ll also get the opportunity to enjoy an amazing selection of delicacies paired with wine from BC’s top wineries at a chic waterfront restaurant and some refreshing suds at Canada’s first craft brewery – Granville Island Brewery, or at a fantastic craft spirits distillery.
