On the edge of the Pacific Rim National Park in the picturesque village of Torfino, on Vancouver Island. It is located on the most westerly point of Chesterman Beach and consists of 2 buildings.

Deluxe rooms are between 420 & 600 square feet, with unique views, a fireplace, balconies and either a king or 2 queen beds. The bathroom is luxuriously appointed with either single or double sized soaker tubs. There are 3 premier rooms, located in the corners of the building for two-directional views through 4 large windows, additionally to the deluxe, the double soaker tubs have their own view and there is added space. There is a range of suites available; the Chesterman Suites are split level with a gourmet kitchen, complete with fully stocked fridge, and stunning views from everywhere and the intimate Canopy Suite has floor to ceiling windows, 2 person soaker bathtub and a multi-jet shower for two. The Ancient Cedars Spa is open to the ragged rocks and the Pacific and offers a full range of treatments as well as yoga.

Whether you are here in summer, winter, autumn or spring there is always a host of activities for you to get stuck into. Head out in search of Black Bears from a covered vessel with a viewing deck or zodiac between May & October or head out for some whale-watching, where you might also see seals, sea lions and sea otters whilst a variety of seabirds swoop around you. The birding here is spectacular with lots of resident Bald Eagles as well as Tufted Puffins, Black Oystercatchers, geese and ducks across different habitats throughout the year. There is also some serious fishing, relaxing hot springs, surfing and sea kayaking alongside lots of opportunities for nature walks and hikes and beaches to explore. During the winter, the storm watching is fascinating as 20 foot waves pound the shores and howling gales haunt the skies and there is plenty of indoor fun to take advantage of such as the climbing gym.

Pointe Restaurant has breathtaking 240 degree views of the Pacific vistas and the On the Rocks Bar & Lounge serves some wonderful specialty cocktails and Single Malts to wash it down with. Using only the finest farm-fresh ingredients, sumptuous cuisine is served alongside the best North-Western wines.
