The lodge has been built to resemble a West coast style home and the ambience has grown to match. There is a stunning dining area complete with a fireplace and stunning views across the beach. Spend your days here relaxing on the beach; take up a surfing lesson, zip lining or embarking on a boat ride in search of whales.

A laidback style resort with great service and a friendly atmosphere.

Setting

Located on the West coast of Vancouver Island, 7km South of Tofino; accessible via air into Tofino Airport or ferry into Victoria, Nanaimo or Comox.

Accommodation & Facilities

Within the main lodge building there are 41 rooms available with a variety of types available including: ocean-view rooms, deluxe beachfront rooms and pacific penthouse suites. There are 20 self-contained cottages spread around the rain forest; each has two bedrooms, a lounge area with a cast iron fireplace and a hot tub on a semi private patio. These cottages are ideal for families or small groups travelling together as you will be uninterrupted by other guests and can choose exactly how to spend your day. All guests have full access to the Surf Club Adventure Centre, Rip Tide Centre and a fully equipped BBQ shelter.

Dining

There is an on-site restaurant named ’The Great Room’ which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. As well as being able to dine within the grandeur of the dining room you are also able to experience the delicacies in the comfort of your own room or during your day exploring the local area. The knowledgeable chef ensures that the ingredients used in his dishes are fresh and locally sourced including delicious halibut and oysters.

Activities

There is a wide range of activities available at Long Beach Lodge; what you choose to embark upon is entirely your choice. There are ample water activities to choose from including surfing, paddle boarding, sea kayaking and both salt and freshwater fishing. For the adrenalin seekers there is an opportunity to zip line through the rugged canyon and the lush rainforest which surrounds you. You can also explore the lodge surroundings on a marine tour which takes place upon a private boat with space for just 12 guests at a time; look out for gray whales, humpback whales, orcas and porpoises.

Child Policy

Children of all ages are welcome at Long Beach Lodge and children under six stay free of charge.
