Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountain Range on the west coast of British Columbia, the ancient Great Bear Rainforest is one of the largest tracts of temperate rainforest left in the world. At a massive 21 million acres, it stretches over 250 miles up the mainland coast of B.C. and fjords stretch all the way into the ice-capped Coastal Range. A remote land of archipelagos and 1000 year old cedars, its unique position has allowed it to stay relatively isolated from the rest of North America.

All of the arrangements were taken care of, with a high standard of accommodation and reliable car transfers. Travelling can be very tiring so it takes away much of the stress when everything runs so smoothly. We were even privileged enough to see the elusive Spirit Bear which made the holiday extra special.
The trip was simply awesome. Thank you It ran like clockwork and in fact the guys on Pacific coastal airlines even welcomed us back and asked us about Nimmo and held a plane for us, but its the magical memories from just 11 days that will stay with us forever.
NWS was very professional, also being able to speak to Will on the phone was great. Guides approachable and good communicators felt very safe in their care. The tour leader Eric was extremely good, attentive to everyone, knowledgeable and very hard working.
