SETTING
The Wilderness Explorer can be found sailing along the coast and waterways of Alaska.
ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES
There are 37 cabins aboard the Wilderness Explorer, accommodating a total of 74 guests. There are four different cabin categories - Navigator, Trailblazer, Pathfinder and Explorer - accommodating queen or twin beds. The ship is designed to maximise viewing areas, with a sun deck complete with large hot tub and an open bow which is great for up-close wildlife viewing. There is a communal lounge area containing a bar and dining area, and a library with books, games and DVDs.
DINING
All of your meals are included during your stay on board the Wilderness Explorer. Meals are served in the communal dining area, and are prepared by experienced chefs using locally sourced ingredients, often including freshly caught seafood. Vegetarian options are available for all meals and special dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice. Wherever possible, ingredients are sourced locally for freshness and regional authenticity, as well as to support the local communities.
ACTIVITIES
There are a number of relaxing activities available during your time on board, including yoga classes and a professional masseuse. The ship also holds kayaks, paddleboards and inflatable skiffs, allowing you to venture out in search of wildlife. Snorkelling is also available for a fee.
