Lapa Rios is located on the south-eastern tip of the Osa Peninsula, a 50 minute domestic flight from San Jose to the Puerto Jimenez airstrip.

Constructed using locally sourced materials, the lodge features 16 individual thatched huts perched at an impressive altitude of 350 feet above sea level. This elevated position captures the refreshing ocean breeze and provides a commanding viewpoint overlooking the juncture of the Pacific Ocean and Golfo Dulce. Activities

Follow the un crowded trails in the rainforest, take nature hikes, bird watching tours and night walks. Humpback whale watching (August-October), horse riding, zip-lining, waterfall rappelling, kayaking, surf and stand up paddle board lessons is also available.
