Using the characteristic materials of the Patagonian landscape, Altiplanico Puerto Natale’s long, rectangular structure almost melts into the surrounding hillside. Noble woods, brute steel, glass, stone and bricks create the simple interior spaces and on the outside, roofs are covered with turf and wild flowers at different levels.

The rooms are double or triple; all spacious with a simple design and huge windows with views you would pay to get on canvas. The concept ‘favours beauty over luxury’, creating a refined and private space from which you can enjoy your time, however the rooms are all uniquely styled, creating more of a home-from-home atmosphere. Rooms all have a private bathroom, safe, phone, central heating and Wi-Fi and overlook El Seno de Ultima Esperanza.

In the main area there is a restaurant/bar, hot tub and a special room for watching movies. There is also a laundry service, massage service, free parking and Wi-Fi.

Dining

The restaurant opens in the evening to serve a delectable set menu, accompanied by juices, fine Chilean wines or a pisco sour. Cuisine is Chilean, Peruvian and French inspired, mainly locally sourced and served fresh.

Activities

A range of packages are available including activities such as visiting the penguin hatching sanctuary in Otway Bay, exploring Torres del Paine National Park, from its lakes and mountain ranges to the torres (towers) themselves. You can also see the Southern Ice Fields, Gray Glacier or take a boat through the legendary Patagonian channels.
