Another much sought-after species, and one of the most emblematic animals of the area is the maned wolf. Pousada Trijunção maintains a research project dedicated to the preservation of the endangered maned wolf, in partnership with the NGO Onçafari. Dining

The menu at Pousada Trijunção has been inspired by Brazilian literary works about the Cerrado. Brazilian literature makes abundant references to the Cerrado, most notably the works of Guimarães Rosa, which describe “outside cooking” – with meals on balconies and in outdoor settings – and “inside cooking”, when travellers were invited to sit at tables. Dishes reflect the three different states of Minas Gerais, Goiás and Bahia, with culinary traditions combined from each. Food can also be served at any time of the day, eliminating the concern with schedules and ensuring comfort and convenience.
