About Pousada Aguapé

Located on the edge of the Pantanal, this traditional farm has belonged to the same family for over 150 years, offering travellers the opportunity to experience the way of life on a typical Pantanal farm. With the opportunity to experience a traditional way of life comes the adventure – head out with the cattle handlers on horseback to drive the cattle to other parts of the farm, and learn about the traditional culture of the locals. Wildlife is abundant here, and while the jaguar is elusive in this part of the Pantanal, there are fantastic opportunities to see giant river otters, caiman, capybaras, giant anteaters, and an abundance of birds.
