about hotel santa teresa, rio de janeiro

Santa Teresa is a new and unique hotel, which ultimately is just beautiful. Having, in its previous life, been a historic coffee plantation mansion, it blends its artistic past with tropical and contemporary features to create inventive and innovative guests spaces.  Within its colonial architecture, renowned and contemporary artists have noble and ecological materials such as dark tropical woods and banana tree fibre in the décor. White walls contrast with the dark wooden features to create romantic and intriguing areas, where contemporary and classic art adorns the walls and objet d’art frequent the table tops.
