Located 13 km from the Sede at the edge of a Cordilheira forest, the brick built, stilt mounted Cordiheira Lodge blends perfectly with its natural surrrounds. The close proximity means that it is possible to observe wildlife all day from the living room, pool or the observation tower whilst relaxing in the comfort of the lodge.
Accommodation & facilities
Cordiheira Lodge has five double suites, each with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, and living rooms with TVs and DVD players. Rooms also have access to a telephone.
The main lodge has an attractive lounge/bar with open fire for the cold evenings, and a separate TV area with DVD player. Slides shows are given outside by the poolside bar and open fireplace, and there is free WiFi accessible in the main area of the lodge.
Lodge facilities also include a swimming pool.
Traditional Pantanal dishes are prepared daily, using ingredients sourced from a local supplier.
Cordilheira Lodge offers a wide range of activities, including hiking, truck rides/photo safaris, Canadian canoe tours and bike tours. Guests can also participate in various conservation projects including the Hyacinth Macaw Project and Oncafari, the resident jaguar conservation project. Please inquire for further details.
In the evenings, it’s possible to join a nocturnal excursion, go caiman spotlighting and watch slide/video shows in the lodge.
Children at Cordilheira Lodge are welcome but there are no specific facilities - please ask for further details.
