Accommodation & Facilities
There are just 6 rooms here with space for up to 12 guests at any time. Located in the actual ‘wings’ of the bird shaped structure, they are of a standard size and include balconies overlooking a west-facing inlet of the lake. Rooms all have pure cotton sheets, down-filled pillows and hot showers as well as air conditioning and ceiling fans. Décor is traditional in style, with exposed brick walls, wooden floors and rustic furnishings, bathrooms have clean lines resulting in a more modern twist.
The main area of the lodge is inside the bird’s body and includes a large cosy living room with a big TV and games; there is also a dining room for up to 12 guests. Outside on the deck area you will find the swimming pool surrounded by chaise longues and snug hammocks.

Menus are inspired by traditional Pantanal recipes and include fresh ingredients such as freshwater fish and fruits of the Cerrado, such as pequi and guavira.
These include photographic safaris, walking the trails, a Canadian canoe tour, horseback riding and nocturnal spotlight exploration. Optional activities include birding, bike tours and a motor boat tour on the Aquidauana River.
During the high season, from mid-June to mid-September, special activities are available including an Astronomy Workshop, Pantanal Culture Workshop & a Jaguar Program.
Children over 8 years old are allowed and are considered to be adults. There are no roll-away beds available. Under 8's are only allowed if the entire camp is booked out by the same party.
