Plan your Greenland Safari

A sample of our Greenland Safari Itineraries

The remoteness of Greenland is often considered part of its charm, but it does make it more difficult to explore. With just two flights a week arriving into the eastern coast – one from Akureyri in Iceland and the other from the west of Greenland - most arrivals are by sea. Our chartered expeditions to Greenland’s east coast travel in the summer, when reduced sea ice allows us to better explore the intricate fjord system of Scoresby Sund. West Greenland is slightly easier to access, with airports located in the larger towns of Nuuk, Ilulissat and Kangerlussuaq, although on the ground most people still opt to travel by dog sled.
