An exciting family safari, exploring the Masai Mara and Ol Pejeta Conservancy before relaxing on the Kenyan coast, surrounded by the beautiful Indian Ocean. Spend some quality time with your family within idyllic private camps.

This trip is well suited to families with younger children - each camp provides a great experience for children and adults alike. At Karen Blixen Camp, children will be taught by the local Masai, using bows and arrows, bead making, and how to make a fire - a completely interactive experience. Ol Pejeta features a pool and family suites, whilst Pinewood Resort provides activities such as evening BBQ's with acrobats and dancers.

Day 1

Arrive Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by one of our representatives who will drive you to your accommodation. The rest of the day is yours to relax after your flight.

Day 2

Nairobi - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Today you’ll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport to catch your internal flight (1020-1120). You will be picked-up upon arrival and transferred by 4x4 to your camp in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arriving in time for lunch you can enjoy game viewing on the way, then after afternoon tea you can venture out onto the rolling plains on a game drive to enjoy the wonderful array of game on offer. Game driving in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a rare pleasure with few vehicles
permitted access. This evening enjoy a sundowner drink followed by a spotlight drive back to camp. Take a hot shower before joining other guests for a drink around the campfire or in the cosy lounge tent.

Days 3-4

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Enjoy your days making the most of this fantastic corner of Africa. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is renowned for its good sightings of black rhino, elephants, lion, cheetah, grazing herds and leopards. Your days will be taken up by morning and evening game drives as you explore this stunning wilderness seeking out the game as the Bush unfolds before your eyes. In the evenings sit back and relax at your camp, enjoy a sumptuous dinner and admire the never-ending stars of the African skies. Other activities during your time here include night game drives, game walks and a lion tracking program which monitors lions in the area.

Day 5

Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Mara North Conservancy

This morning after breakfast, you transfer back to the Nanyuki Airstrip in order to meet your internal flight to Masai Mara (0905-1100). From here, you are transferred to your accommodation, game driving en-route. Check in and relax at your new lodge.

Days 6-8

Mara North Conservancy

Enjoy your days exploring this wonderful part of the Mara North Conservancy on shared game drives with your professional guide. Because you are staying in one of the Conservancies, night drives and walking safaris are available (age restrictions apply, please ask for details). The Mara North Conservancy is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas within the Masai Mara Ecosystem.
Throughout the year great numbers of herbivores such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, Thomson`s gazelles and impalas seek the area for water and grazing and the big cats and other predators
are never far away! Huge hippos and large crocodiles can be found lazing around in the waters of the Mara River.

Day 9

Mara North - Kenyan Coast

Enjoy your final game drive in the morning. You will be transferred by road to the airstrip and fly from the Masai Mara to Nairobi Wilson airport (1100-1220) for a short transfer before your onwards flight to Diani Beach. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your beach lodge before being able to relax after the last week’s safari.

Days 10-14

Kenyan Coast

Enjoy your days relaxing at this beautiful seafront location. Chill out on the beach, laze by the pool, or treat yourself to a relaxing massage.

Day 15

Kenyan Coast - Depart Nairobi

Today, at a time to be advised locally, you will be transferred from your accommodation to Ukunda Airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Wilson Airport. Upon landing you will be met by a representative and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport via a restaurant for a meal (at an additional cost). Once you have finished your meal you will continue to the airport in time for your onward flight home.
