The private nature of the reserve means that both day and night drives are offered along with walking safaris. For those wanting a more unique safari experience we recommend a mountain biking or horse riding safari which will allow you to have an exhilirating experience on the plains. Horse riding safaris are particularly great as the smell of the horse masks your presence, allowing you closer encounters with wildlife, especially the giraffe and zebra. Whilst on drives you have good chances of seeing big tusker elephants, lion, cheetah and plenty of plains game. You can also meet the Maasai community who own the reserve, learning more about how they benefit from the reserve as well as the impressive conservation efforts underway here. If you prefer to spend an afternoon around the lodge, there is a hide where you can enjoy wildlife, particularly elephants coming to the waterhole to drink.
