Day by day

Day 1

Nairobi - Giraffe Manor

Upon arrival you will be met by your professional English speaking driver/guide and transferred to Giraffe Manor, the beautiful setting of your first night in Kenya. If your flight arrives in the morning you will have plenty of time to explore the Karen Blixen Museum and David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage before relaxing in the colonial living areas of the manor.

Day 2

Giraffe Manor - Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

After a restful sleep, head down to the wood-panelled dining area to enjoy an exciting breakfast with giraffes poking their noses through the windows to join you! From Giraffe Manor you will be transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport to catch your internal flight into the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Lewa Wilderness Lodge is situated within the 60,000 acre Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, which uses a truly successful conservation model, recognised throughout Kenya. Resting on on the northern slopes of Mount Kenya, at roughly 1615m above sea level, this is not a malarial area.

Days 3-4

Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

The remarkable Lewa Wildlife Conservancy consists of a wide range of ecosystems, ranging from swamp to savannah; it supports a huge diversity of wildlife and is a sanctuary for many species, including black and white rhinos, giraffe and Grevy's zebra. During the next couple of days you will enjoy day and night-time game drives in 4x4 vehicles, with guided bush walks, bush meals and sundowners. Lewa Wilderness Lodge arranges Maasai tribal community visits, aerial safaris in a classic bi-plane, horse riding, camel rides, farm and craft tours, and visits to a pre-historic archaeological site. Other activities available at the lodge include tennis and a massage service.

Day 5

Lewa Wildlife Conservancy - Mara North Conservancy

This morning, you transfer back to the airstrip in order to meet your internal flight to the Masai Mara. From here, you will transfer to the wonderful Kicheche Mara Camp, looking out for game en-route. Located in one of the Masai Mara's conservancies, you will be staying in one of the prime wildlife viewing area as well as having access to the main Masai Mara reserve. Thanks to the intimate nature of conservancies, game viewing is possible right from the camp. Not only will you have shared game drives in the Koiyaki/Lemek Group Ranch area of the Mara, you can also enjoy shared game walks.

Days 6-7

Mara North Conservancy

For the next two days you have the chance to fully experience and appreciate this fantastic region. Being away from the main Mara Reserve you will encounter wildlife without herds of cars and buses that can come with the busier parks. In the Mara North Conservancy you will have the chance to witness all of the African big cats, as well as plenty of other game and birdlife. In addition to shared game drives you can enjoy sundowners, guided bush walks, cultural visits and even optional hot air balloon safaris and champagne breakfasts!

Day 8

Mara North Conservancy - Kenyan Coast

After breakfast you make your way back to the airstrip to catch your internal flight to Diani. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Kinondo Kwetu. Here, you can sit back, relax and reminisce over your adventures.

Days 9-12

Kenyan Coast

You will have four days to relax and unwind after your Kenya wildlife safari at this tranquil resort. Enjoy scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking and horse riding or simply just sit by the pool with a good book.

Day 13

Kenyan Coast - Depart

Spend the morning relaxing by the pool and enjoy a final lunch here, perhaps enjoy the local catch of the day for the last time. After lunch you will be transferred to Diani Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. On arrival you will be met and taken to a local restaurant for dinner (payable direct), before being transferred to Nairobi International Airport (JKIA) for your onward international flight back home.
