Day 1

Maun - Central Kalahari

On arrival into Maun Airport you will be met and shown to your onward light aircraft flight. From the plane, you'll appreciate the beauty of this area and how, with no fences, the wildlife is free to roam as it pleases; this will be your first view of the area that you will be exploring over the next few days and essentially your first game activity. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by your guide and driven to your camp. Settle into your room, have a bite to eat and in the afternoon, head out on a game drive into the Kalahari!

Overnight: Tau Pan Camp L, D

Days 2-3

Central Kalahari Game Reserve

You have two full days to explore this vast region with morning and afternoon game drives. The area is home to specialised wildlife including oryx, springbok, red hartebeest, honey badgers, ground squirrels and steenbok as well as numerous birds. This is also one of the best areas to see cheetah who take advantage of the open spaces to hunt small ungulates. If you are lucky, you may get to see the famous black-maned lions which are larger than their cousins in the rest of the country. One of the highlights is the Bushman walk where you get to learn more about their fascinating culture.

Overnight: Tau Pan Camp B, L, D

Day 4

Central Kalahari - Okavango

After your morning's game drive, transfer to the airstrip for your flight the Okavango Delta. By air is a fantastic way to travel as you see the wetlands of the Okavango Delta and its giraffe and elephants wandering aimlessly below. You will have the rest of the day to enjoy this reserve. Activities include day and night drives, mokoro excursions, guided walk, fishing, motor boats and sunset cruises.

Overnight: Pom Pom Camp B, L, D

Days 5-6

Okavango Delta

Encapsulating the heart of wild Africa with its evocative scenes of wildlife and natural beauty, a journey into the untouched Okavango Delta is one of jaw-dropping big game viewing, peace and tranquillity. The Okavango Delta is one of the best places on earth for game viewing and with very few visitors, you'll feel like you're one of the earliest explorers as you head out with your naturalist guide, whether by vehicle tracking the big predators or gliding through the waterways in a mokoro, or even on foot!

Overnight: Pom Pom Camp B, L, D

Day 7

Okavango Delta - Livingstone

After your morning game activity (time permitting), you will be driven back to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Kasane Airport. Upon arrival you will be met and taken across the border to Livingstone in Zambia. After clearing customs and immigration you will be met by another driver and taken to your lodge. The rest of the day is at leisure, though we highly recommend finishing your day with a sunset cruise.

Overnight: Stanley Safari Lodge B, L, D

Days 8-9

Victoria Falls

Known also by its indigenous name, Mosi-oa-Tunya 'the smoke that thunders', Victoria Falls is classified as the largest waterfall in the world, with a width of 1.25 miles. A visit to the Falls is a highlight of anyone's safari in Southern Africa and the area is a hub for water and land-based activities. Visit the breathtaking Victoria Falls or, for an aerial view, why not try a helicopter flight over the Falls. Alternatives include white water rafting, a visit to the national park and a sunset cruise, to name a few! Most activities can be booked upon arrival, however it is advised to book helicopter flights in advance. When not exploring the area, kick back at your accommodation.

Day 10

Depart Livingstone

This morning you will transfer back to the airport for your international flight back home.
