Taking in the highlights of Botswana and enjoying the thunderous Victoria Falls, this safari maximises your chances of seeing as much as possible during your trip. Starting from the colonial comfort of Stanley Safari Lodge in Zambia, enjoy the falls and take part in the many activities available here before heading into Botswana to experience the huge herds of elephants at Chobe National Park. You then move on to the beautiful Kwando Concession, home to wild dog, buffalo, hippo and much more, before exploring the waterways of Shinde. Finish in the Kanana Concession where you can enjoy boat safaris, night drives, game drives and walking safaris and see lion, leopard, lechwe and elephant. This safari gives you a true taste of this inspirational region.

Day 1

Arrive in Livingstone

You will be met upon arrival at Livingstone airport and transferred to the lovely Stanley Safari Lodge. Located on the escarpment, with views of the spray of Victoria Falls in the distance, this is the perfect place to start your safari.

Day 2

Activities around Victoria Falls

Enjoy a full day relaxing around the lodge and exploring the local area. An obvious must is a visit to the breathtaking Victoria Falls or, for an aerial view, why not try a helicopter flight over the Falls. Alternatives include white water rafting, a visit to the park or romantic meals on Livingstone Island to name but just a few!

Day 3

Livingstone - Chobe National Park

This morning you depart Stanley Safari Lodge and will be transferred to Muchenje Lodge by road and boat (approx 2.5hrs). With only ten elegantly furnished rooms, and located in the western side of Chobe National Park, this is a fantastic lodge from where to start your safari. Activities during your stay include game drives by 4x4, night drives, boat cruises on Chobe River, village trips and guided bush walks.

Day 4

Chobe National Park

Enjoy a full day in Chobe National Park on day and night drives, boat cruises as well as village trips and guided bush walks. The main highlight of Chobe is the huge herds of elephants!

Day 5

Kwando Concession

Following your early morning game drive in Chobe National Park you will be transferred to Kasane airstrip for your onward flight (a light aircraft transfer) to Kwando Lebala Camp. Overlooking the Linyanti Wetlands, this camp has recently been renovated and concentrates on game drives by 4x4, night drives and walking safaris (for security reasons the walking safaris depend on the volume of elephants in the area at the time of visiting). A variety of exciting wildlife is on offer in the Lebala area including elephant, buffalo, hippo, zebra, giraffe, impala, wildebeest, kudu, roan, sable, wild dog, cheetah, lion and hyena.

Day 6

Kwando Concession

You will have a full day to explore the Linyanti wetlands where you will have the opportunity to see the interesting fauna and flora on game drives and walking safaris.

Day 7

Kwando Concession - Shinde Concession

Today you will catch your onward flight to Shinde Camp located in its own private concession. Set on the edge of the permanent waterways of the Okavango Delta, Shinde offers you something a bit different. A variety of activities are on offer including game drives by 4x4 (mating lions were a highlight on our last visit!), guided nature walks, night drives, mokoro trips, boat excursions and fishing.

Day 8

Shinde Concession

You will have a full day to relax and explore the waterways Shinde Camp and its concession area. This is the perfect place for a family or small group with lodging to suit and a selection of activities on offer to suit everyone's needs.

Day 9

Kanana Concession

Following your early morning game drive or boat trip, you will fly on to your next stop: Kanana Camp. Set deep amidst the Okavango Delta, Kanana Camp is located under a canopy of acacia, fig and sausage trees. Leopard, lechwe, lion and elephant are all residents here and can be seen by 4x4 game drives, boat trips, guided walks and night drives.

Day 10

Kanana Concession

Spend a full day on game drives and boat trips in and around the Kanana Camp area of the Okavango Delta.

Day 11

Kanana Concession - Maun

Following your morning game drive (time permitting), you will fly to Maun for your onward flight back home.
