A simplistic camp with a real bush ambiance.
In the lower reaches of the Huab River Valley, in the Erongo Region, Damaraland. Accessible only via light aircraft, expect outstanding views of the lunar landscapes this area is so well known for.
Accommodation & FacilitiesThe rooms are a bit of a ‘no frills’ affair. They are clean and cared for, but simple with just twin beds, a mirror, a chemical toilet and a viewing area. Hot water and toiletries are provided.
The main area has seating, a lounge and decking. There is also a mess area serviced by the ‘bush bar’ and a campfire. The service here is great, the attitude friendly and the ambiance jolly and communal.
This is a communal affair, the food is good and the wine is excellent.
Desert excursions include game and bird viewing, star gazing and guided walks, as well as sundowners.
