Day 1: Arrive Windhoek

On your arrival into Windhoek International Airport, you will be met by one of our representatives who will assist you with any questions you may have and help you on your way to your accommodation. Your rental vehicle will be delivered to your hotel at a pre-arranged time.

Day 2: Self Drive to Okonjima

Your self-drive journeys takes you northward to Okonjima, located at the base of the Omboroko Mountains near Waterberg. Okonjima is home to the AfriCat Foundation, a wildlife sanctuary which focuses on the research and rehabilitation of Africa's wildlife.

Day 3: Okonjima

Head out on a game drive within the 20,000ha reserve, returning to the lodge for brunch. You have the opportunity to track leopards with the help of radio tracking devices and your experienced guides, which aims to provide a sustainable future for leopard populations in Namibia.

Day 4: Self Drive to Etosha National Park, Ongava Private Game Reserve

Self-drive from Okonjima to Ongava Private Game Reserve, located on the southern boundary of Etosha National Park. You have the day at leisure, and this afternoon you can enjoy a shared guided game drive on the Ongava Game Reserve with the lodge.

Day 5: Etosha National Park

Most wildlife activity happens around the waterholes which often attract large herds of kudu, springbok, giraffe, wildebeest, black faced impala, oryx and elephant. This attracts the predators like cheetah, lion and leopard that often lie in wait around the waterholes ready for an ambush.

Day 6: Self-Drive to Erongo Mountains

Self-drive in a southern direction to Epako Safari Lodge, located near Omaruru, amongst the Erongo Mountains. All meals, two scheduled lodge activities per day: morning and afternoon guided game drive, walking safaris, bushman rock art and Rhino tracking.

Day 7: Depart Windhoek

Today you drive back to Windhoek/ Hosea Kutako International airport. A NWS representative will meet you at the airport and assist with returning your rental vehicle and checking in for your departing international flight.
