Mfuwe Lodge

Often overlooked for a safari destination, Zambia is a must; with first class walking safaris, great leopard densities in South Luangwa Valley National Park and excellent wild dog sightings, Zambia makes for the perfect getaway. One place not to miss out on is the cosy Mfuwe Lodge located in South Laungwa; in the fruiting season a small herd of elephants regularly visits the property, marching straight through the reception area in order to get to one of their favourite fruiting trees!

Mfuwe Lodge can be visited on our Ultimate Zambia Safari itinerary.

Baines Camp

Baines Camp

The ideal honeymoon property located in the middle of the Okavango Delta. The star attraction here however is the unique access to the Grey Matters Elephant Project. Whilst the project is not located specifically at the lodge, it’s only a short distance away. Grey Matters permits visitors to spend a unique morning with our pachyderm friends – meet this friendly herd of elephants in the morning and be talked through their everyday routines, from here you set off on a walk through the bush with the herd, ending in a relaxing lunch in the middle of the Botswana wilderness with everyone in attendance!
