Set sail with biologist, filmmaker and explorer Lizzie Daly. Together you’ll embark on a liveaboard journey on the Sea of Cortez with a skilled expedition crew.
Lizzie Daly is a scientist, explorer, presenter, and filmmaker whose adventurous spirit and storytelling mastery have made her a recognisable face on global wildlife television. Her credits span BBC One, BBC Two, CBBC, National Geographic, Animal Planet, Love Nature, and Sky TV. She is currently hosting a groundbreaking elephant series on Sri Lanka to be released on 2026 and recently fronted Deep Dive North America for Love Nature (2025), a follow-up to Deep Dive Australia (Sky TV, 2024).
2024 was a landmark year: Lizzie released Jaguar Journals (Love Nature & Sky TV), travelled to the Pantanal to uncover jaguar life, and co-hosted Aneeshwar and Lizzie Go Wild on CBeebies. She has also contributed to BBC’s The One Show, Curious Creatures, Winterwatch, and Nature’s Greatest Mysteries for Animal Planet.
As a live host, she has fronted National Geographic’s Meet the Expert, Blue Planet LIVE Lessons, and Wildscreen’s Panda Awards. Alongside presenting, Lizzie is an experienced underwater and topside cinematographer, drone operator, and expedition leader. Her adventures have taken her solo to the Arctic, Antarctic, Amazon and beyond — always with camera in hand.

Join us in 2024 for polar bear cruises in Svalbard aboard the R/V Kinfish, where every moment is an opportunity for polar bear watching amid the stunning Arctic scenery.
Lizzie’s passion for the natural world has led her to combine science, exploration and storytelling into a unique career. She is completing her PhD using tag technology to study animal movements in changing landscapes, and in 2024 she published her first children’s wildlife book, Life in the Wild.
Her expeditions are as physically demanding as they are scientifically valuable — from filming musk oxen in the Arctic, to completing a 140km solo ultramarathon in -35°C, Lizzie continually pushes boundaries to better understand and share the wild. Her work has taken her from the icy seas of Antarctica to the depths of the Amazon, often solo, documenting wildlife in some of the planet’s most remote places. She also films much of her own content, combining field science with her skills as a cinematographer and drone operator.
As a sought-after speaker and host, Lizzie has delivered keynote talks for organisations such as Google, Adidas, Huawei, and ICUN’s COP26, interviewing figures including Al Gore, Jane Goodall, and Steve Backshall. Her talks inspire audiences to connect with nature, embrace resilience, and take action for the planet.
A passionate conservationist, Lizzie is an ambassador for the Marine Conservation Society, the Jane Goodall Institute UK, and the first female patron of ORCA. She brings this commitment to every journey, helping travellers see not only the wonder of wild places, but also the importance of protecting them for the future.
