Built into the mountainside, Lucma Lodge has spectacular views and is set into an avocado orchard. Near the village of Lucmabamba, it is in a tropical rainforest of an archaeological reserve, at the head of the Inca Trail.

Accommodation & Facilities

The lodge is fully equipped and serviced. There are 6 private double rooms, each with a private bathroom complete with hot and cold water.

There is also a cosy reading room, fireplace, central heating and a relaxing outdoor Jacuzzi to bubble away any aches from your day out trekking.


Peruvian and international cuisine. You will have dinner here before your overnight stay.


Chill out and savour the views from the Jacuzzi. This is one of the lodges used on the Salkantay Route to Machu Picchu. This is a lodge based trek to one of the world’s most intriguing wonders, not just for those that don’t want to sleep in tents after a hard days trekking, but for those who want to really take it all in.
