Located within 819 hectares of rainforest in the Southern Amazon of Peru, Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion sits within a lush and unique location, once a cacao and rubber plantation. Living in a rich ecosystem, brimming with tropical plants and vibrant wildlife, it is in a natural rainforest that acts as a buffer between Tambopata National Park and the Madre de Dios River.

Style

A comfortable, family orientated jungle lodge.

Setting

Daily flights from Cusco and Lima make this jungle lodge easily accessible, right in the heart of a private ecological reserve. Access is only via a scenic canoe ride.

Accommodation & Facilities

The eight rooms are nice, spacious and airy, equipped with twin beds or one king. Bathrooms are en-suite with hot running water and even a bathrobe for your comfort. If you fancy something a little more private, the cabanas are all set apart within the tropical gardens and are great for couples or families.

The dining area has a thatched roof and open sides so you can absorb the excellent forest views.

Dining

All food is prepared using fresh local ingredients. Vegetarian and child menus are available on request.

Activities

Excursions are split into 1 day, half day and quarter days, as well as being split into different difficulty levels. Attractions include nature trails, the butterfly house, learning native skills and bird watching, as well as astronomy, fishing and photography.
