There are 40 superior rooms, each 20 metres square with either twin beds or a king. The 8 superior deluxe rooms are 30 square metres with the same bedding arrangement, but an added sitting area and complimentary mini bar. All rooms have blackout curtains, cotton bathrooms, natural herbal amenities, a flat screen TC and reading lights. Sheets are 100% cotton, pillows are hypoallergenic and the duvets are soft and downy.
La Cafeteria is open throughout the day, offering the healthiest meals in Machu Picchu and there is a comfortable bar/lounge with a variety of snacks and tapas, as well as Piscos and organic wines. The ‘hot water pond’ is open to all guests (children under 12 must be supervised) and there is a gift shop and computer room with complimentary internet, 24 hours a day.
Oxygen is available on request. Upon arrival you will be welcomed with their signature lemongrass lemonade, and make sure you enjoy the Happy Hour Pisco Sours from 5.30pm to 7pm!
Dining
La Cafeteria serves a complimentary breakfast buffet, using organic and local ingredients to make a range of healthy options, from smoothies to Belgian waffles. It also serves food through to 11pm, including organic salads, pastries, sandwiches and homemade soups.
Activities
The hotel can provide a range of options for visiting Machu Picchu, as well as transport to and from the train station. For a unique viewpoint of the town, you can also climb the nearby Mount Putucusi.
