Casa Andina premium Collection, Arequipa

In the heart of Arequipa’s historic district, you will find the hotel on a quiet street, just around the corner from the renowned 16th Century Santa Catalina Convent. One a sillar (white volcanic rock) colonial mansion, it now holds the former 1794 Casa de la Moneda – Mint House, and acts almost like a museum.

Remodelled in 2008, the hotel now provides luxurious accommodation for its guests, using old frescoes and relics unearthed during the renovation to emphasise it character. There was even a chapel discovered which had been long buried away from sight.
