Accommodation & Facilities
At the Pikaia Lodge there are two types of suites as well as two types of rooms; terrace and balcony rooms, and a garden and a pool suite. All of these rooms have private bathroom facilities as well as huge windows giving panoramic vistas over the breath-taking landscape. There are ample amenities in each of the rooms however; the Pool Suite even has its own private plunge pool.
Dining
All meals are served at the Evolution restaurant which offers an array of fresh ingredients and delectable dishes. For breakfast the menu has a distinct American style with plenty pancakes on offer as well as, eggs, bacon, cereal and yoghurt. Lunch is often served outdoors on a barbeque next to the infinity pool. Dinner is a fusion of fragrant flavours and dishes; the experienced chef uses the freshest ingredients and can cater for many dietary requirements.
Activities
There is a huge focus placed upon land exploration of the stunning Galapagos Islands; as many tours take place aboard a cruise ship it is quite a unique experience to be based on land. Discover the incredible flora and fauna which call the Galapagos home and take a day or half day trip on the lodge’s yachts M/Y Pikaia I and M/B Pikaia II. There are also many additional activities on offer including sea kayaking, mountain biking, scuba diving and snorkelling.
Child Policy
Children are welcome at Pikaia Lodge however it should be noted that it is discouraged for children younger than 8 to stay here.
