About the M/V Evolution, Galapagos Islands

This intimate and charming yacht has space for just 32 guests at a time, meaning it is small enough for an up close and personal experience with nature. It is, however, ample enough to provide spacious staterooms and some beautiful social areas, including indoor and outdoor dining.

The M/V Evolution artfully combines beautiful spaces and fine attention to detail with excellent staff, service and accommodation to create a unique experience in the Galapagos Islands, whilst causing minimal impact on the environment.

Style

A classic and intimate yacht with luxurious and spacious features

Setting

Found exploring the Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador, you will usually board at Baltra Island and end at San Cristobal, or vice versa.

Accommodation & Facilities

There are 3 suites, 8 premium staterooms and 5 deluxe staterooms, each beautifully designed and well thought out, akin more to a luxury hotel than an expedition ship. All staterooms and suites have private facilities, climate control, safety boxes and ample space to store your clothes, as well as wonderful bathrooms with hairdryers and the amenities you would expect from a fine hotel. Prices vary according to the location and size.

The Albatross Deck is at the very top of the ship and has 2 master suites and a twin suite, all with ocean-view windows. Below this is the Beagle Deck, this is the main deck where you will find a majority of the social spaces and no suites or rooms. Then we have the Cormorant Deck, home to 9 staterooms, both double and twin, with ocean-view portholes. The lowest deck is the Dolphin Deck where you will find 4 spacious staterooms, twin and double, all with portholes.

The Albatross Deck is also home to the captain’s bridge, alfresco sky lounge and alfresco bar. On the Beagle Deck, there is the inside dining room and alfresco dining area, the main lounge and bar, and the Jacuzzi with lounge chairs for sunbathing. The infirmary and public bathroom are found on the Cormorant Deck.

Other facilities include sea kayaks, snorkelling gear and wetsuits. There is also a boutique on board for purchasing amenities and souvenirs. On ‘family cruises’, there is also a Kids Club.
