Tranquil, African safari style, luxury tented accommodation

Within a 55 hectare acre farm in the highlands of Santa Cruz, the camp borders the national park and is just 30 minutes from the sea and close to the tortoise reserve.

Accommodation & Facilities

The 9 luxury safari tents are located just down from the main lodge, each built on wooden platforms which then forms the wonderful wooden floors. Tents are comprised of three layers, protecting your from the elements and are spacious and comfortable. Furnishings are custom made, elegantly enhancing the décor whilst keeping it simple and practical. Each tent has twin beds, these can be joined together to make a queen and a sofa bed can be added for children under 12 years. Bathrooms are en-suite, with flush toilets and hot power showers. Tents also have a large balcony with a snug hammock and chairs, perfect for whiling away the afternoon watching over the stunning panoramas of the area.

Galapagos Safari Camp recently added a three-bedroom family suite as an alternative to their luxury tents. Its location next to the main lodge makes it an ideal option for families who favour more private and cohesive lodging. The family suite, which sleeps six, features a master bedroom and two twin rooms, all with en suite bathrooms.

The main area is stylish and beautifully designed, perched on a hill for optimum views from the huge veranda. There is a lounge and bar, all open plan and a cosy fireplace to convene at the end of a long day exploring. There is also an infinity pool, completely surrounded by nature. Set on a farm abundant with wildlife, you are sure to meet a few of the critters whilst you are at camp, from finches, warblers and mockingbirds, to Galapagos doves and tortoises.

Cuisine is a mix of local and international dishes, using home-grown produce.

Lots of activities can be organised from the camp, from inland walks, horse trekking and snorkelling, to diving kayaking and full day excursions to the other islands.
