Accommodation & Facilities

The rooms here are all well equipped and spacious, giving guests all the essential luxuries as well as a traditional feel to their stay. The property features a relaxing dipping pool and riverside gazebo, with hammocks for provided for welcome relaxation after excursions into the wild.


The lodge has its own on-site, riverfront restaurant providing a mixture of traditional Caribbean and Costa Rican dishes, served in a relaxing environment perfect for families.


There are a variety of activities available to participate in at Tortuga Lodge, but the main focus here is on the local wildlife. Guided wildlife tours with expert guides are available along the miles of trails, as well as river trips on boats. For those looking to explore the local culture, trips to villages give you an opportunity to connect with the residents and gain an insight into their way of life.

Child Policy

Children are welcome and those under 10 years of age stay for free with their parents. There is also a special children's menu available in the restaurant.
