Accommodation & Facilities
There is a range of accommodations here to suite the needs of any traveller. The 20 bungalows and rooms are dotted around the lodge area, each private and tranquil. Each is palm thatched and has a king sized bed, hardwood floor, hammock, private bathroom and a terrace with outstanding views of the river and rainforest. The two Jungle View Rooms are great for families while the seven Garden View Bungalows have an additional futon and an almost 360 degree view of the rainforest. River View Suites are wonderfully spacious and have an additional shower. Linda Vista Suites are huge, with a living room, outdoor heated shower and private spring-fed pool. There is also the Linda Vista Honeymoon Suite, sumptuously furnished with an indoor and outdoor shower, two terraces, a private plunge pool and huge bathroom and an eco-concierge (ideal for that honeymoon safari!). Lastly there is the Canopy Honeymoon Suite, completely secluded and accessed via a private suspension bridge; the views are unbeatable. The bathroom is stone made and spacious, there is a spring fed stone pool and a covered terrace with a hammock – this is perfect for any couple wanting complete privacy and peace amongst the lush vegetation.
The lodge also features a recently renovated spa which runs entirely off of renewable energy sources, as well as WiFi and charging points in the communal areas.
Gourmet cuisine is served alongside fine wines
There is a huge variety of activities on offer at the lodge. After waking up each morning to the glorious sound of birds singing and the trickle of water, head out on a days adventure hiking, rafting or exploring the canopy. Try your hand at canyoning, which includes climbing, hiking and rappelling, or just relax at the lodge watching the wildlife and listening to the sounds of the jungle.
Children are welcome, there is a minimum age limit on some activities
Pacuare Lodge is committed to sustainable tourism through the building of the lodge, how it is run, and a variety of programs supporting the community, wildlife and flora.
