Setting

Surrounded by Guanacaste's beautiful landscapes and beaches, the hotel is encompassed by local villages with a total population of about 1,300. The hotel can be reached via land or local flights.

Accommodation & Facilities

The Deluxe Rooms are beautifully appointed with a private tropical terrace, a hammock and all the facilities you could need. The Suites are larger and more secluded with a private deck and whirlpool, great for honeymooners, and couples. The Casitas are in a cottage style, with even more space for its guests; here you can take advantage of a private deck, plunge pool and garden. The Villas are great for small parties and extended stays, like a home away from home! They are available with 2 to 4 bedrooms and feature stunning décor, with natural woods large panoramic windows, private pools and diverse architectural styles – each one unique and original. All of the accommodation is well decorated with a tropical feel and some beautiful places for you to relax and make the most of your Costa Rica holiday.

The large infinity pool is a great place to relax with a book and at ocean level there is the Borrancho Beach Club, complete with pool, gardens, playground, restaurant and wet bar. There is an exercise room with gym equipment such as treadmills, spinning bikes and weights and there is a golf course and tennis courts.

There are also babysitting services, laundry and ironing as well as an internet station and wireless access.

The hotel also has a spa.

Dining

Guests can dine in the restaurant or by the pool; ingredients are fresh and the flavours tropical and Costa Rican.

Activities

Apart from the abundance of things to do at the hotel, there is a wide range of authentic experiences on offer. Some of the events on offer are seasonal and some are available all year round. Regardless of your travel dates there is always the beach and private romantic dinners available, with a serenade if you wish! Head out in search of the raucous howler monkey, take a leisurely hike through the tropical rainforest or go bird watching. You can also go horseback riding, sport fishing and surfing throughout the year. You can also do a regional circuit to explore the different cultures and arts, learn Spanish and cooking.

Depending on the time of year you may be able to watch the sea turtles or kayak through the mangroves and rivers.
