About La Casona

Nestled deep within an enclosed 9,000 hectare valley you will find the colonial estancia of La Casona. Perfect for pampering yourself and learning about one of the finest locations for producing both red and white wine.

With the famous Matias Bustos running the on-site restaurant the cuisine reflects the hotel itself, mixing longstanding traditions with innovative notions and concepts.

Set in the private Rosario Valley- which runs parallel to the ocean, in the San Antonio Valley.

Accommodation & Facilities

All of the 7 rooms are named after different wines and are en-suite with their own walk in shower; the suite also has its own Jacuzzi bath. Each have their own outdoor terrace perfect for witnessing the breath-taking vistas over the vineyards.

Within the hotel there are many communal areas for guests to unwind; there is a lounge and reading room as well as a games room complete with a pool table and honesty bar. There is an outdoor swimming pool with canopied daybeds perfect for relaxing after your days of exploring.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and there is also a meeting room available to book for up to 40 people.

Dining

Both breakfast and dinner are included with your room at La Casona; breakfast includes a buffet of breads and cheeses as well as Chanco which is cheese made from sheep’s milk which is made fresh on site. There is also a nearby restaurant which serves lunch Tuesday through Friday; specialising in Chilean cuisine the renowned chef adapts the classic recipes in order to use as much local produce as possible. You also get a complimentary bottle of wine with your main meal made from the vineyards surrounding you.

Activities

Being situated in the centre of the Rosario Valley there are ample opportunities for you to take a tour of the vineyards and wineries. If you visit during the harvest season you will even be able to help with the production of the infamous wines. For the more adventurous there are ample opportunities to take hikes through the ‘Huayan Trail’ or witness the stunning panoramas via horseback through the private valley.

Child Policy

All children are welcome at the La Casona - cots and extra beds are available on request. However, the hotel advises that it is best for older children as they can take full advantage of the outdoor pool and the other activities on offer.
