Located on the banks of the Paraná River, Puerto Valle is ideally situated for exploring the wildlife-rich Ibera wetlands of northern Argentina. A traditional 19th century ranch houses the hotel’s 13 modern rooms, all of which offer commanding views over the river, and also features a wine cellar and restaurant specialising in local cuisine.

Puerto Valle is located on the banks of the Paraná River, on the northern edge of the Ibera wetlands and approximately 350km south of the Iguazu Falls.

Accommodation & Facilities

The hotel consists of 13 spacious rooms and suites including 2 Standard Suites, 2 Superior Suites, 8 Deluxe Suites and 1 two-storey Duplex Suite. All rooms are decorated in a contemporary style with large windows looking out over the Paraná River.

The hotel also features an outdoor swimming pool, an open air bar, wine cellar, restaurant and library.


The hotel restaurant serves both traditional and more unusual local cuisine, prepared using freshly caught fish and ingredients grown in the hotels organic gardens. 


Puerto Valle is ideally situated for exploring the nearby Ibera wetlands, an incredibly biodiverse region which is home to caiman, capybara, marshland deer and numerous bird species. Guests can explore the surrounding waterways on a boat cruise or kayaking trip, or go horseriding or cycling along the many forest trails.
