Day 2, Exploring Buenos Aires

Today is yours to explore the city known as the ‘Paris of South America.’ You could choose to visit the historic Plaza de Mayo, the brightly coloured streets of La Boca and the neighbourhood of Recoleta with its 19th century architecture. Indulge in your first taste of incredible Argentine cuisine and perhaps catch a romantic Tango performance in evening.

Day 3, Buenos Aires - El Calafate

Today your private transfer takes you to the domestic airport for your flight to El Calafate. Here you will be met upon arrival for a private transfer to your hotel. This rest of the afternoon is yours at leisure.

Day 4, El Calafate – Estancia Cristina

An early morning departure from El Calafate city centre, as you head towards Punta Bandera where you’ll sail along the Upsala Channel to Estancia Cristina. If the weather allows, you’ll sail to the front of the magnificent Upsala Glacier enroute. rrive into your remote lodging and explore the grounds amidst the beautiful Patagonian backdrop.

Day 5, Exploring Los Glaciares National Park

Choose from a full range of guided excursions including hiking, horse-riding, fly fishing and 4x4 adventures. Hike breathtaking canyons or ice fields, explore vivid blue lakes and lagoons or Los Perros waterfall. The lodge offers exclusive access to the Upsala Glacier and the vast Southern Patagonian Ice Field, surrounded by dramatic mountains, ancient glaciers, and pristine landscapes.

Day 6, Estancia Cristina – EOLO

Enjoy your last activity at Estancia Cristina before departing the lodge in the afternoon by boat back to Punta Bandera Harbour. You’ll be met and transferred to the nearby EOLO Lodge for a hearty Patagonian dinner and overnight.

Day 7, Perito Moreno Glacier

After breakfast you will embark on a full day witnessing the truly magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier. Walk the many walkways in front of the glacier enjoying spectacular views, before stopping at Bajo Las Sombras Pier, the nearest point to the southern wall of the glacier. If you’re lucky you may even be able to see a part of the glacier calving from the wall, crashing into the icy waters of Lake Argentino below.

Day 8, EOLO Lodge

The surrounding estancia offers a landscape that ranges from a small lake in the valley to forests on Cerro Frías. Several activities can be enjoyed in this unique and exclusive setting. Activities on offer are - horseback riding, trekking, mountain bikes (unguided) and Argentine wine tasting.

Day 9, El Calafate – Ushuaia

You’ll be collected from your hotel and transferred to El Calafate airport for your flight to the ‘end of the world’, Ushuaia. Transfer to your hotel perched up in a fantastic vantage point overlooking the town and surrounding landscape.

Day 10, Tierra del Fuego National Park

Enjoy a privately guided half day tour of Tierra del Fuego National Park, where the sub-Antarctic forest, the Beagle Channel, and the Andes Mountains meet. Travel through the Rio Pipo valley, Lago Roca and Lapataia Bay enjoying the stunning views of the National Park.

Day 11, Discovering the Beagle Channel

Today, you’ll explore the Beagle Channel by boat. You will navigate up the beagle channel to Harbeton Ranch. Pass by Bird Island and Sea Lion Island (no disembarkation) enroute. You’ll then head over to Martillo Island which is home to a charming colony of penguins. Enjoy walking alongside the Magellanic and Gentoo penguins before heading back to Ushuaia.

Day 12, Ushiaia – Buenos Aires

Transfer back to Ushuaia Airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires. From here you connect onto your international departure flight or we can suggest further onward travel arrangements.
