about Panoramic Hotel, Iguassu

Originally built in the 1940’s by the same renowned architect know for building Llao Lao, the National Museum of Fine Arts and the National Bank of Argentina, Alejandro Bustillo. Due to the economic situation, the Panoramic Hotel was closed in the 80’s, to then be renovated to re-open in 2007, keeping many of its old features and preserving the original character, to become the luxurious hotel it is now.

Panoramic Hotel is named after the spectacular panoramas the hotel has over the meeting of Iguassu and Parana Rivers; where jungle meets the wild tropics and water displays of colour and light span over 275 waterfalls. After all that, what better to do in the evening than watch the sunset with a glass of champagne from the pool surrounded by tropical gardens…

All areas of the hotel have a modern decor, using neutral colours and the occasional splash of brightness. Clean lines and subtle lighting bring a real luxurious feel to the place and a twist of romance with the odd candle here and there.

Dining

The Dona Flor is a fantastic space, its dark interior contrasting the reams of light coming in through angular windows. This menu is influenced by the tropical flavours of the region and provides a tranquil and romantic atmosphere in which to enjoy your meals. If you wish to eat al fresco, then there is the café outside by the pool.
