The only 5 star hotel on the shores of the Beagle Channel with unrivalled access to stunning vistas. On the Isla Grande de Terra del Fuego in the city of Ushuaia, the most southern city in the world.

Accommodation & Facilities

Standard rooms a well appointed, with a mini bar 21 inch flat screen TV, safe and hair dryer and have wonderful views from large, wooden framed windows to either the channel or the mountains. Superior rooms are similar but a little larger at 30m², two of these rooms can be joined together, some with a private antechamber. Junior suites have an added living area with an extra 25 inch flat screen TV, balcony and hydro massage in the bathroom. Senior suites are the largest at 56m², additional to the junior suite, these have a private deck terrace and a big hydro massage in an entirely separate area, there is also a coffee make and a sound system here!

Enjoy happy hour at the bar with your favourite drink or head there in the afternoons for tea, hot cookies, fresh fruit pies and more. The Cava/Wine Bar has extraordinary views, especially at sunset and offers over 100 of the best Argentinean wines.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel; there is storage for your skis and luggage, a drugstore, handicrafts and souvenir shop and satellite TV. There are also frequent transfers into town, parking, rooms for guests with reduced mobility, laundry and dry cleaning.

Dining

The Reinamora is the on–site gourmet restaurant and incorporated the countries best products blending culinary techniques with pure elements. Ushuaia is renowned for its amazing seafood.

Activities

Ushuaia has a myriad of activities to enjoy all year round. In Ushuaia you could go to the End of the World Museum, the Maritime Museum or the Model Museum of Yamana World. Or you could head just outside of the city on an excursion to the Martial Glacier, the End of the World Train, and cruise down the Beagle Channel, join a city tour or head to explore the National Park. During he summer months there is hiking, fishing, horse back riding, mountain biking, rural tourism and golf. In the winter months the land is transformed to glistening white where guests may take part in cross county or alpine skiing or go dog sledding. There are lost of shows and entertainment in the winter such as the Longest Night National Party, the Ushuaia Dog Sled Race, the End of the World Rally and the National Meeting of Snow Sculpture.

It is also possible to go diving in the Beagle Channel’s subantarctic waters, go climbing, visit the beavers on a ‘Beaver Encounter’, go off roading in search of lakes, sea kayaking and even trips further south down to Antarctica!

There is fantastic bird watching throughout the year here, where native forest grows along the coast till it meets Pipo River.
