As the name suggests the El Casco Art Hotel has been founded on the principle of its art and, as such, there are 475 pieces of Argentinean sculpture and painting dotted throughout the property and grounds. All of this lends an air of refinement to all of the rooms and communal areas and it is a relaxing and ambient property.

This is a truly great spot and, even though the road runs very close by, you do not notice it from the rooms and so feel like you are out in the wilderness.

There are just 33 guestrooms at El Casco Art Hotel, perfect for an intimate and private retreat. These Bariloche accommodations offer modern amenities, including choice of king-size or twin beds, music equipment, plasma-screen televisions, wireless Internet access, individual bathrooms with walk-in showers and private terraces with views of the Lake Nahuel Huapi and the hotel gardens (depending on which room or suite you have).

The Hotel’s Health Club has a has a heated in-out pool with magnificent views and deck towards the Lake, a modern gym, saunas, 2 salons for special treatments and a hairdresser. The exterior Jacuzzi, located on the terrace, invites guests to relax in the most delightful setting.

Dining

The restaurant offers Gourmet cuisine using fresh produce from the area. Some dishes are based on the recipes of Baroness Ellrichshausen. It has received awards from the Argentine Academy of Gastronomy.

Activities

In The Gardens, designed by Eng. Carlos Thays, 24 sculptures by Argentine and European artists are on display. Its terraces facing the Lake allow guests to enjoy receptions, lunches or dinners outdoors.

In-door activities include a Spa and a Gym, which can be organized to suit individual needs. In addition, there are three Golf courses only 15 minutes away from the hotel with buggies for transport, club rental and all the amenities needed to practice this sport.

Outdoor recreational activities include Lake outings aboard our 15 metres long private Cruise Caleu-Caleu, Trekking in Cerro Catedral and adjoining areas, handgliding, rafting in Manso River, kayak from the hotel’s beach and more exciting activities.
