Safari Overview

This expedition is great for those with a limited amount of time, combining a short flight between Punta Arenas and the Chilean Station Frei with a ship cruise along the Antarctic Peninsula. The coldest, driest, windiest and most remote continent on earth, here you will explore vast icy seas and meet the unique wildlife through zodiacs and on foot on this 7 day itinerary. As with many of our safaris in the polar regions, flexibility is the key and your exact itinerary will depend on nature and weather conditions.

What makes this trip extraordinary?

  • No Drake Passage crossing avoiding the roughest seas and saving time travelling to Antarctica.
  • Visit vast penguin colonies.
  • Opportunity to stand on the continent of Antarctica (conditions permitting).
  • Explore ice-filled fjords and cruise among spectacular icebergs.

The perfect safari for those short on time who want to see Antarctica, or for people who get sea sick.
